Hardscape as Artform

Granted patios and terraces are practical parts of the landscape, but why not make them aesthetically interesting as well? Here, long after the flowers have fallen, this space is still inviting, thanks to the bluestone and granite pattern in the hardscape. Adapted from an Edwardian design, the intricate design helps to wed this brand new outdoor living area to the 1890's house.
